i havent upgraded past aim 5.5.3572 because if you search deadaim 5.5.3572 in limewire you get the exact crack you need that works perfectly with that version

i used to use AIM 4.8/4.9 or whatever with deadaim x.5 forever, but reinstalled and now using AIM 5.9.3861 with AdHack 4.13 and it does everything i need, doesn't seem to do logging but google desktop logs stuff now

there's really no point staying with deadaim

1. IM window is way too busy looking

I stuck with 4.8+ for the longest time, but it got annoying that I couldnt direct connect with people etc. So I went to trillian.

Basically I just wanted something with a history log and full aim features. aim 5.x didnt have it at the time (about 3 wks ago?)

So far, I'm totally unimpressed... Away messages do NOT work right at all..you can set up your message but it doesn't save or show or anything. There's a ton of buttons too that I liked that aren't there anymore (like a quick "Buddy Info" button - now you have to right click/get info)... and wtf... ads in the IM window?! Gay.
