Ok, so I've been downloading the new season of Lost, since I don't pick up the channel real well, and am impatient to wait for the damn things to come out in a year on DVD. But my problem is, when I run the .avi files that they are formatted in (using Windows Media Player) they always fucking play with a green screen. Soundtrack is fine, I can hear that clearly, but what the bloody hell is screwing up the video to make it a solid green screen the whole time?!? 10/8/2005 10:36:55 PM |

get the latest version of the divx codec from divx.com
uninstall xvid and any other divx decoder.
if the problem still exists, use a FourCC converter to retag the file as divx 10/9/2005 12:06:22 PM |

Did VLC right after I posted this. Runs just fine. Saw another thread pertaining to this. Thanks anyways. [/thread] 10/9/2005 5:33:50 PM |
