I was checking box scores for preseason NBA games and it looks like Grundy is trying out for the Hawks. Unfortunately he had a DNP- Coaches Decision next to his name.

I always thought he could make it if he worked on his 3s, because on defense he was stout! 10/12/2005 12:28:05 AM |

i always loved his heart. he has really, really long arms. but unfortunately he's undersized to play in the NBA. At 6'3" he's too short to play the 2, and can't handle well enough to be a PG. Good luck though.

That's great, I just saw him about month ago at a couple Enloe football games. Glad to see he's still playing. 10/12/2005 7:01:14 AM |

I just checked ESPN, Yahoo, and the Hawks website and Grundy isn't listed on the rosters. I know he was listed on the roster a few weeks ago. 11/10/2005 6:08:25 PM |

Tony had 25 points and 5 assists for the Roanoke Dazzle last night and had 24 and 3 on Friday
throught the first 2 games of the NBDL season, he is the league's second leading scorer at 24.5 ppg
and he is outscoring Luke Schenscher by 17ppg
