I have Cingular's service and a Palm Tungsten T3 PDA. I haven't really been impressed with either. I'm thinking of getting a combo PDA/Cell Phone (Are they all referred to as Blackberries?). My plan with Cingular is up this month, so I'm debating whether or not to stick with them or check out Verizon's line of Cell Phone/PDA Combos. I hear that Verizon offers broadband service as well as GPS capabilities. I'd definitely be interested in this. Has anyone had any experience with any service like this? Thanks. 10/14/2005 10:33:18 AM |

last i checked, though, verizon's data service was outrageous.

I really haven't been impressed with Palm OS.
I also learned that all PDA/Cell Phone Combos are not "Blackberries"--that's a brand name (guess you learn something new every day).
I've heard good things from my friends about Verizon's Internet service so who knows. I'm basically out of my Cingular contract now and I think I'd rather get Verizon service. Cingular gets spotty reception where I work so I definitely need a change. 10/14/2005 12:17:45 PM |

verizon service is excellent, i've used it virtually everywhere and it seems i'm almost always the one out of my friends with the most signal or "a" signal, while they are left without one...
and imho, i'd get a windows mobile 5.0 device w/ verizon 10/15/2005 12:07:53 AM |

Wait for the Treo 700w
My unlimited Data Plan is $44/mo and *confirmed yesterday* will remain the same when the EV-DO 700w rolls out.
Well worth it for an always-on-wifi connection IMHO. 10/15/2005 11:13:26 AM |
