I have 256 crucial(333), kingston(266)
and 512(333) crucial. I ran at latency 2.5 and 2.0 and both times it couldn't handle.
I took out kingston and it works good at 2.0.
why is that?

ram latency values are for specific frequencies only

2 for freq X
2.5 for freq Y
ect ect

if using two sticks, you must operate both at the same speed, and thus there mayl be different latencies

the kingston is prolly binned for 3.0, and if your trying to run a 266 at 333 speeds it will prolly need to be at 3.0 anyways. put just the kingston in and see what it will run at.

then just test all three, start with 2-2-2-5, then 2.5-3-3-7, then 3-4-4-8 and see if any of those work.

Also dl memtest once you are able to boot and run it to make sure its stable.
