What is supposed to look good about these? I know theyre supposed to be "futuristic" like the other shit theyve worn lately, but what is so futuristic about this? they just look STUPID.

Well, Nike is now in the business of homogenizing football just like they've homogenized soccer. The arm thing is nothing new, almost all the Nike soccer jerseys for this season had an alternate-color arm panel for no reason at all.
