So I have this web server, that has been up for a couple of months or so, with no issues, but I had to run it with the computer name of localhost.localdomain. Well, today I decided I would be real smart, and set the computer name to its actual name on the network. It worked just fine until about 2 hours ago, and all of a sudden, it takes 5 minutes for the simplest of pages to load, and I can no longer reach it through SSH. Any ideas? Did the switching of the computer name do this or could it be network congestion?
