I have The Band of Brothers on Divix and and I would like to be able to play then on my DVD player. Is there a specific program I need to use or would Nero work fine?

I tried to set it up to burn w/ Nero but it had 2 folders: one audio and one video but the file I have is only one.

Is there a option that I am not choosing or something?

this is how i do it. set up ur menus and chapters and everything with nero and then burn the project to ur computer. after that, i use dvd shrink to burn it to the DVD with proper compressions and such.

USE AVI2DIVX

use cinemacraft cce with it and it'll do great conversions.

buy a cheap $60 phillips Divx capable dvd player.

yeah - i've got one of those over at my girlfriend's place...works nicely as long as the videos are encoded properly, but every once in awhile you'll run into issues with it. for the dvp642 there's a yahoo group about it though: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/philips_dvp642/
