your answer didnt have the words "the dark tower" and is such automatically wrong

and i would put It, The Stand and Talisman ahead of Salem's Lot

Salems Lot is good though

The unabridged The Stand that was rereleased IMO is better than the orginal version. But its still second fiddle to the first 3 Dark Tower books.

Book 4 was good but not the best, and 5,6 kinda made me angry with the crossovers. I get why he probably did it, but still.

Best individual (to me at least) would be Wizard and Glass. Taken as a whole, the Dark Tower series is incomparable (though I haven't read book 7 yet...)

I believe he refers to it as a novella. Longer than a short story; shorter than a novel.
And the full title: Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption

that's right, i forgot it was in Different Seasons

Three quality movies came out of that. I dont remember "Breathing Method," but it would be neat if that became a movie too.

The other 3 are non-supernatural, is the breathing method??

The Running Man But seriously, it was much better than the movie (duh)...I also loved The Long Walk...still laugh when I think about the dude dry humping and getting blue balls so bad he gets shot

I loved The Stand...and there was another "novella"...i think it was the longliers or something like that (made into a crappy TV movie)

thats the one where they fly into a place that is after time

i mean he has a ton of novellas

but yes, The Running Man is good, the movie is only similar in the most basic plot elements.

plot has been done many times though, obviously King wasn't the first. It was just his take.
