The incident, reported to have occurred Oct. 21 in a Wake Forest residence hall between midnight and 7:30 a.m., involves a female Wake Forest undergraduate student and four male Wake Forest undergraduate students. Neither the university nor police investigators — Winston-Salem or Wake Forest — are identifying the female student or the male students. The university police department and the district attorney's office asked Winston-Salem police on Oct. 25 to assume the primary investigative role in the case. The university police department, which had been investigating the case, will assist Winston-Salem police investigators as needed. "

This incident has been kept pretty quiet, but it reportedly involves 4 Wake Forest football players. Note the 4 football players that were suspended immediately after this incident was investigated. Also, police reportedly pulled these players out of class.

Well, the story did finally get out.

I've heard about it second-hand (from a friend that knows some of the football players), but I don't really know too many of the details.
