If you believe that the team plays better b/c Stone is in...

then that would mean that they didn't want to win with Jay Davis at the reigns

which would mean that the team self-sabotaged itself and can be considered directly responsible for the losses we've had

now you should ask yourself: why should i support a bunch of people who didn't want to play hard enough to win?

Just becuase you play with more enthusiasm and hope for Stone doesn't mean you sabotage the game with Jay.

Kinda like how we always play FSU tough and lose to Wake Forest. It's the same team.... we're just more enthused and play with more fire vs. FSU.

Stone brings a sense of hope and will to win to this team. Jay has lost the confidence of his teammates and it just seems that they play a little harder for Stone (At least thus far)

This is the only way you can justify your stupidity Charlie? We just beat FSU and you're pissed. How does it feel to be a sorry shit?

Charlie, there is no logic there.
Stone has faster feet and imo makes better decisions.

The team didn't play bad b/c of Jay....Jay was just BAD.
But he wasn't the sole problem.
The team is starting to look a little better. Stone just helps the cause.

I can't believe I actually gave that post a response

I'm not pisssed

I'm questioning the nature of the team

reasons why people wanted Stone to play included that the rest of the offense didn't want davis

so when they get Stone they miraculously play better because they are "recharged"

because Stone "sparks the offense"

my point is that they could have played with the same intesity with Davis, but chose not to

Geez.

FSU. Chris Rix. Loaded team that absolutely gave up.

What we have is 40 times worse than Chris Rix. Rix would be amazing compared to our QB's.

Enough said. It's really not that hard.

Im not 100% sure that's what's going on here... but it seems we're playing more inspired. We're 2-0 with Stone...stick with Stone.

maybe we're getting ahead of ourselves here. lets wait and see how this season ends before we say something is working. beating So Miss didnt't please me. I think our boy bobby took it easy on us tonight honestly. So, lets wait. play a team in which the coach dosn't care about amato(see bowden bowl) and see how our "sparked" "inspired" team pans out.

games like the one yesterday give us false hope.....the real wolfpack team(of the past two years) will show up again....

FSU played like crap, freshman QB....like Wienke his first time playing.....they will kill us next year with experience....we will still be stuck with Stone....

^He may be a freshman QB, but hes been leading the ACC in passing yards and I think efficiency. Our D made him look like a freshman tonight. Simple as that.

umm they didnt play this well cause jay didnt give them a chance. its like a fresh start with stone so they can go out there and go nuts because if they win, they win, if they lose, they lose.

^^Who cares about those stats, he is still a freshman who makes mistakes. It was like Jay last year, he had a good rating and great numbers for yardage, but his mental mistakes cost us games. And if you really think that the team plays harder with stone in, thats just dumb. Why the hell would our team not try to win no matter who is the quarterback. Im sure the O-line huddles up and goes, "Hey lets not protect Jay so Stone can come in"

When Chris Rix was QB at FSU... his junior season when McPherson played.... the team was loaded, but they gave up on Rix. They actually held a team meeting without the coaches, decided as a team to ask Bobby to put in Adrian McPherson becuase they wouldn't play for Rix any more.

When a QB loses his team's confidence, the entire team plays flat as a board and uninspired. Its fucking worthless to bust your ass knowing that one person is going to ruin your chances for winning by being a dumbass.

Jay lost his teammates support.

Believe it or not, it happens... a lot

Denying it is like saying an 0-10 team plays with the same vigor as an 10-0 team the last game of the season. You can still go through the motions on the field, but you aren't playing with the same type of intensity. When a team doesnt' believe in itself or have anything to play for they become flat and unconfident. To me, at least, it seems like Stone has given this team a new start and a belief that they can win.

The same freshman whose been leading the #9 ranked team in the nation. Every QB makes mistakes....how bout giving credit where credit is due. The D played like a top 10 D and made the QB pay for his errant passes.
