I love how everyone thinks its all good now after beating a middle of the road C-USA team and then FSU (who if you haven't noticed always bring our A game to these days).

I'm not trying to hate but it takes a lot more than that for me to have faith in Chuck. Like maybe a better than 4rd place finish in conference (overall, not division)

What are we "back" to? Being in the middle of the pack in the conference? You must be out of your mind to think that one big win erases 2 1/2 years of mediocrity and wasted talent. Perhaps if this carries over and we finish strong (i.e. actually make a bowl game) then I'll be able to have a little optimism next season. However, I've seen this team get big wins in the past and come out completely flat the next game, so forgive me if I reserve my judgement for a little while and don't proclaim us to be a national power just yet.

YES, it'd be GREAT to finish 4th in Conference now, b/c of where we stand with only 3 games left.

However, there's basically nothing Chuck can do that will make me feel GOOD about the season. If we win out I won't feel bad, but I won't be running around proclaiming NCSU to be a quality football program.

A 7-4 season is still a disappointment...but it's just a small one.

A 6-5 season is a big disappointment.

A 5-6 season sucks ass.

A 4-7 season should get Amato fired (though it won't).

Im telling everyone to not bank on a win against them. They gave Alabama and North Texas, usually a good team a game. Saturday they beat Arkansas State 45-7. Look at how we tend to "overlook" the weaker teams, I.E. Wake and UNC.

Am I the only person who thinks it is highly likely that we lose the rest of our games except for MTSU? Yes the FSU win was good but i think we have to keep in mind that we play them well pretty much year in and year out. I just have a hard time believing we will beat BC and MD.
