That wind from last week scares me. I keep telling everyone that I think we will lose one of the next two games. Not sure how we will play against average teams on their fields in their conditions.

These next two games are gonna be tough. Bears then Bills, two really tough defenses. Our offense will need to be clicking. I think our D can pull it out against the two n00b qb's, but I wouldn't be very surprised if we lose one of the two. GO PANFAS

Panthers lose this one, unfortunately.

Bears run it right down their throat, which is the weak point of the Panthers D.

Meanwhile Delhomme continues his penchant for ill-timed interceptions.

Panthers 10

with the horrible wind conditions we are going to continue to run ineffectivly for 3 quarters and then hit steve smith on one of those one yrd hitches he gets. He will run 75 yards and be tackled on the one. Steven Davis gets the ball and smashed Urlacher costing him D player of the year and giving us the 7-6 lead.

Panthers 7
Bears 6

I think chicago is terribly overrated, but this one still worries me. Will Jake be able to pass in that weather? Will the cats be able to run against a good bears D? We haven't been able to run against any other defense.

Kasay will be in trouble in that wind.....

still, it's the bears, it's the NFC South vs. the NFC North....

Cats - 10
Bears - 3

Yeah I'm a little worried about this one too. Just heard that Thomas Jones is returning to the starting lineup for the bears. I know our run defense is ranked pretty damn high in the league, but last game it looked at times like the jets were running at will on us. Hopefully we'll get a lead early and force them to pass... their right tackle is supposed to be like a turnstile--peppers should have a field day.

On offense we definitely need to run the ball better. I say start Foster. Davis hasn't really impressed me all that much and we're gonna need a threat who can take it the distance in this one b/c of the assumed weather conditions.

All things considered, I still say: us-17 da bears-7

You do realize the Panthers are one of the league leaders in rush defense right? Try again.

i know chicago has no offense, but they are getting compared to some great defenses of the past

so it may be a low scoring game, panthers 17, bears 0

i think the panthers are like 1-4 when the temp. is below freezing at kickoff

You do realize that we've been playing some god-awful teams, right? And that teams have abandoned the run to try to come back on us after we build up comanding leads.

The Jets had no problems running on us.

Despite Chicago's record I see this game being similar to the Panther's previous 3 games(blowouts). Chicago is an average team, only leading their division because it is the weakest in the NFL this year.

If the wind is as bad as last week then the Panthers will need to focus on the run game, which has been inconsistent. Stephen Davis has not been as good as he was in 2003 and I think they should consider making DeShaun Foster the starter. He's looked better than Davis in limited work this season and is a much greater receiving threat.

CAR - 31
CHI - 10

you know orton will throw at least 2 ints. the panthers will finally establish a strong running game, play safe, and let the bears beat themselves. Panthers 17, bears 9.
