If anyone is still interested in getting some Reynolds chairs they have 3-4 carts full of triples left at the Materials Support Surplus Sale. I just got a set of triples for $15 (were selling them for $30 at the sale in the spring). They have a few sets at the front, but ask someone to see the carts in the back. Some guy saw me looking at the chairs up front and took me to the back to look at the carts full of them. I think they have a sell every Friday. I got there this morning at 8 and there were people lined up out the door. Turns out I was the only one looking at Reynolds chairs. All the rest were looking for cheap computer parts, desks, and all the other junk they have over there. I am sure there will be some left at least into January if not longer.

^^^English definitely isn't my strong point, so thanks for correcting anything I screw up. I am glad that I found these. Once I get them cleaned up they will be great for setting up in my living room and they are great part of NCSU basketball history.

^They should be open during exam time, but I can't say for sure. Call 515-5525 to ask any questions. I called yesterday to see if they had any chairs left for today and they had all the information I needed.

I don't know what kind of quality you are expecting, but you have to consider how old these chairs are. I couldn't find a set that didn't have a whole in the seat cover, but IMO you can't beat $15 seats considering they came from Reynolds.

i dunno how u got access to the ones in the back, they arent supposed to be on sale anyways, they bring out one cart at a time and sell them each week...those others are supposed to remain in the back because they are up to that point on friday, property of the sports dept. You basically got lucky, but yea every week there is some out there, the quality of the chairs goes down every week though, so have to look over that. As for the cleats and all...again u got lucky lol, it all belongs to sports dept. They hold all that stuff till the red white game and sell it every year. Lucky fella

I did get lucky on being let into the back to search through all of the other chairs and I agree that the quality of the chairs is pretty bad. One of the employees saw me looking at the chairs up front and told me to follow him because all the ones at the front had been picked through. We weaved through a maze of old desks and went past the signs that tell you to stop without permission from an employee to 2 carts full of chairs.

I wouldn't say I got lucky on the cleats. I was told all the cleats they had were already out on the table. I had a friend go to the sale last week (how I knew about the sale) and he also was able to get cleats and a set of chairs.

^^I didn't know they sold stuff every year at the red white game. I just thought that last year was some rare occurence. But since this is only my second year up here, I have only had the chance to go to one red white game. I will be on the lookout for other NCSU sports stuff this spring at the red white game.

They've already started clearing out offices and the like, but at this point not all contracts have been awarded. Construction is scheduled to end July of 2016, and that date is pretty firm.
