People won't care about the Bears until they do something in the playoffs. Don't argue about history, either, because I don't give a shit what happened longer than 3 years ago.

Well they flat out dominated the Panthers today, and the Panthers are believed to be the best team in the NFC. So if the Bears keep it up and get home field advantage throughout the playoffs they will be hard to beat. DA BEARS!

Cmon, do you really think the Bears will lock down home field advantage throughout the playoffs? The only way that's possible is because they play in such a shitty division. They're playing somewhat above their level (similar to the Nationals leading the NL East at the break) and will fizzle out in the last month or so. I remember a few years ago when the Bears went 13-3 and then lost in the first round of the playoffs. They played great today, especially their D-line, but they'll be coming back to earth soon enough.

home field advantage is stretching it i think

lovie smith has got to be up for coach of the year though, and its hard to argue with that defense not to mention soldier field in the winter
