The terrorists can have Iraq. They can have civil war (if its good enough for us, its good enough for them). Its not worth the money. Its not worth the entire might of our military. Its not worth the troop deaths. Its not worth the hate that fuels future attacks on the homeland. We need people joining our armed forces so that we can attack actual terrorist when when find them. Iraq was a violent shithole before we came in, and nothing has changed.

This war is an investment at the cost of lives and money, but the payoff will be huge to those in construction and oil. Apparently, we fight for freedom with an invasion force under false pretenses to initiate the war. We've created more problems in the process (read anti american sentiment) and have started a vicious cycle of violence.

I hope those that support this war also support future attacks on america, because we certainly didnt bring peace.

Supporting the war = supporting terrorism here in the United States?

My faith in humanity wanes by the day. Hiding from the problem and wishing that it will go away will only intensify the violence here and abroad. 9/11 changed all the parameters. Saddam was funding terrorism in Israel and he was going to be a threat at some point. I have yet to see anybody disprove that Saddam had nuclear dreams.

Besides, the only way to prevent the violence of terrorism is the keep the terrorists on the defensive in their own countries so they don't have the time or ability to sit around and pontificate on creating another Trade Center contastrophe.
