Wow. Who would have thought this morning that Penn State could be in the drivers seat for the National Championship game tonight. Of course this hinges on the impossible happening and Fresno St. beating USC.

Fresno is driving to go up on USC in the 2nd. It's on ch. 50 (FSN) in Raleigh..

EDIT: LSU is behind Penn St. in the BCS but if they win the SEC is there any chance they would jump? I doubt it but it has to be considered I guess..

Even if USC loses, Im not sure they would fall further than 2nd. Fresno State is #16 so that and the fact that everyone else besides Texas has lost 1 or more games as well will factor in too. Oklahoma has already proven you can lose late in the season and still play for the title.
