I was refilling the ink on my epson stylus cx5400 yesterday when some thin black band by the timing belt came loose on the right hand side. It's a small thin metallic black band that's right above the timing belt, and it goes through the back of the ink cartridge holder from the right to the left. The band is attached to the right side by a spring. It came loose somewhere from the left hand side, tho.

Anyone knowledgeable about printers?

It's not a timing belt.

Lots of people on here know things about printers.

Did you have a specific question?
