i need to change the admin password on windows xp before windows actually starts up
i've tried using a ms-dos bootdisk with NTFS support to delete the SAM folder, i've tried using numerous password changers, and now i'm at a loss
what next? 11/21/2005 12:48:27 PM |

well if you are talking about basically turning on your computer and not even let it load windows before it asks you for a password, then thats how i did it was to go to those settings by pushing like f2
was like 8 years ago though they might changed some shit since then
*interesting side note*
i locked out my relatives from their computer cause i ddi that and forgot the password 11/21/2005 1:03:19 PM |

yeah i tried that a day or two before making this thread and it didn't work
i think my SAM file is horribly messed up because when i go to delete it, it says FILE NOT FOUND and when i tried to blank the password using the linux disk it didn't stick 11/22/2005 1:00:05 PM |
