The effect on SOS will be negligible. Losing to a Top 10 team won't hurt our opponent SOS too much at all. If we are relying on SOS this year in a down ACC then frankly, we don't deserve to go to the Dance.

Couple that with the fact that Gary Williams is my most hated figure in all of sports (and that is saying a lot) and I will root my balls off for Gonzaga...

The Zags looked good today and I think there deserving of their #9 ranking (soon to be higher).

They play Michigan State tomorrow which will be a tough test (even though they sucked it up versus Hawaii) but after that game, their only real tough competition will be Memphis on Dec 27th.
I think'll they'll be a 2 or 3 lose team goin into the NCAA tournament with #2 seed.
They have an easy schedule and wont get much respect even if they do go undefeated.

Maryland looked a little better than I thought they were going to. However.......

They still don't have a solid point guard and their half court offense SUCKS. We should kill them again this year. They score most of their points on the fast break and putbacks. Our half court defense will kill them and our veteran back court will handle their pressure fine.

They'll beat some good teams this year when they get hot...but they'll struggle again in making the tourney.
