anybody having problems running this. i surpass all of the minimum requirements for except my vidoe card meets the chip set 5700LE (but it is 256MB Card).....will I be able to run this game okay?

yes. it is the quake 3 engine. It should run fine.

maybe with all the stuff turned to max, but f.e.a.r. is still more demanding.

I would be VERY surprised if he could get above 20fps at 800x600 and all low settings

I have a 256MB 6800 GT, runs it quite nicely.

make sure you have it set to run in dx7. it will double your fps.

I got the game. When all the action breaks out it is kind of slow. I went back and changed back to directx7 and set the settings almost all to low.

it runs better now but doesnt show all the extras very well.

Anything else I can do to make it run a little better?

ok with these MINIMUM requirements i dont see how anyone should have any problems playin this game unless the computer is like 5 years old.

my dell laptop is 3 years old and it has a 32 card

^^ i dont understand ur point. i said unless the computer is "like 5 years old" then there shouldnt be any problems. ur laptop is 3 years old with a 32mb graphics card, ok fine. but what is it ur tryin to tie together?

mY MENU SCREEN DOESNT WORK ANYMORE. aNYBODY KNOW WHY I CAN'T SEE THE WRITING ON IT. i CAN MOVE THROUGH THE MENU WITH MY ARROWS AND HEAR IT BUT I CANNOT LOAD ANYTHING FROM THE SCREEN.

aNYBODY KNOW HOW i CAN GET THE MENU SCREEN BACK?

i TRIED NEW DRIVERS FOR MY VID CARD AND RE-INSTALLED THE GAME

I was playing BF2 and BF2:SF with a fx5200... I don't know how bad COD2 is with graphics, but I had everything turned on low and everything worked fine until the video card locks up (about 2-4 hrs after playing online... it varies).

But now with my new setup... I never knew why they raved about graphics on these games until I've played with everything on high
