You don't use ROMs for PSX emulators. You use ISOs. All the PSX emulators I have ever seen don't run ROMS, but you are supposed to just put in the CD from the game and play it from the drive. The best way around this (if you don't have the original game) is to just download (or burn) an ISO, mount it with Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%. Some emulators already have some software that will mount the image and load it. That being said, http://www.isohunt.com has lots of them.
