dude, make it easy on yourself and skip the piddly-ass conferences and any team which hasn't played at least 4 games. Being 1-0 isn't a real fucking accomplishment, and neither really is 2- or 3-0.

Better yet, just wait until mid-December or January 1st to do this...just way too many teams to keep up with now. Maybe with football you could do this from the start since you are down to 50-some after week 1, but not basketball.

clemson has the most pussy out of conference schedule i've ever seen played by an ACC team. Bethune-Cookman, Coppin State, SC State, C Southern, Penn State, South Carolina (not great this year), Wofford, E Tenn State, PR Maya?, Georgia (not good lost to ODU), Elon....then ACC play. I hope they are undefeated goin into ACC play and then dont win one ACC game.

[Edited on December 7, 2005 at 12:04 AM. Reason : they only beat wofford by 2.]

Are you sure about SC? I haven't seen them play this season, but it's an Odom team coming off winning the NIT...I wouldn't totally write them off.

Besides, Clemson should take easy OOC games. They won't win many once January rolls around...

I'm pretty sure it's about the player that was murdered a few years ago.

I could honestly see Florida going undefeated all year.

It's unlikely to keep a high level of play up every single night, but their schedule is a total fucking joke--the only tough opponents they play from here on out are Alabama and a vastly overrated Kentucky.

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/mensbasketball/2005-06-23-baylor-ncaa_x.htm?csp=34

Quote :
"Baylor will have to play a shortened men's basketball season either this year or next and will be on probation through 2010, the NCAA announced Thursday in releasing the findings of its investigation into the scandal-plagued program.

The investigation, which was sparked by the 2003 murder of Baylor player Patrick Dennehy by a former teammate, found that former coach Dave Bliss and three of his assistants had violated NCAA rules and subsequently attempted to cover up the violations.

"The coaches' disregard for NCAA rules has tarnished them, the university and intercollegiate athletics as a whole," said Gene Marsh, an Alabama law professor who was the chairman of the investigating committee.

The NCAA will allow Baylor to decide which of the next two seasons will not include nonconference games, usually about 15 per season. The Bears will be allowed to play Big 12 Conference games and will be eligible for postseason competition.

Earlier this month, Carlton Dotson, 23, was sentenced to 35 years in prison after he pleaded guilty in the death of Dennehy, a killing that led to revelations of wrongdoing in Baylor's program. Dennehy was missing for six weeks before his body was found in July 2003 in a field where the best friends had gone to shoot guns at targets.

By August, Bliss and athletic director Tom Stanton had resigned in the wake of numerous allegations of rules violations.

School investigators later discovered that Bliss paid up to $40,000 in tuition for two players and improperly solicited $87,000 from Baylor boosters. The probe also revealed that staff members did not properly report some players' failed drug tests.

The infractions led to self-imposed sanctions, including a three-year probation, reduced scholarships and reduced contact between coaches and recruits. The school also banned itself from postseason play in the 2003-2004 season, and all players were offered a release from their scholarships.

The scandal is the second in the past decade for the program.

In 1994, Baylor reduced scholarships, banned itself from postseason play and television appearances and placed itself under a two-year probation after a recruiting and academic fraud scandal under former coach Darrel Johnson.

Citing his "unethical conduct," the NCAA Committee on Infractions also handed former head coach Dave Bliss a "show-cause" order that runs for 10 years.

It means a member school that wants to hire Bliss, 61, in any athletics capacity must clear it first with the NCAA.

The association also imposed recruiting restrictions.
