OK i tried searching the site and google to find out how to do this. How can i convert a Works file so that it works in Word? I found one that works for version 6.0 but not 7.0 and i read that it wont work for 7.0, which seems odd..if some nice person in tech talk wouldn't mind helping me, just let me know

Thanks!

From what I remember about Works, when you went to save a file, at the bottom there was a drop down box that would let you save it in a word format... could be wrong though

Only a jackass would send someone else something in works format. Most annoying format to convert. Word 2000 can convert it, post one of the patches, but half the time I get mine to do it it fucks it up and doesn't convert correctly.

People who aren't jackasses save things in .doc or .rtf format which almost everything can read.

I've had too many TA's send me stuff in works format because they were too lazy or too stupid to save it as something more readable.
