through 4 games with the Roanoke Dazzle, Tony is averaging 42mpg, 23.8ppg, 6.8rpg, 5.5apg and 2.3 steals
the Dazzle are affiliated with the Nets, 76ers and Wizards and they can call him up at any time.

Those are some damn good numbers no matter what league he is in. 7 rebounds a game, that's good stuff for a guard. 11/28/2005 3:20:10 PM |

i think the team that sent him there has priority, but the hawks cut him i thought. so who did send him there? or is he like a free agent playin the NBDL? i dont really know how it works if you werent sent there by an NBA team. 11/28/2005 3:27:16 PM |

That isn't how it works.
Quote : | "10 picks of the Roanoke Dazzle in order: Will Bynum, Jeremy McNeil, Andreas Glyniadakis, Anthony Grundy, Nick Billings, Nate Daniels, Dan Miller, Jermaine Bell, Drew Woods, Malik Moore.
Will Bynum is a high flying guard out of Georgia Tech with good leadership skills and experience.
Affiliates for the Roanake Dazzle are Nets, Sixers, and Wizards. Nets have Krstic and Wright who are eligible to go, but are likely a part of the rotation. Sixers have Louis Williams, high scoring guard out of high school, and Deng Gai who are likely going to spend some time with the Dazzle.
The Wizards have Andray Blatche, Awvee Stovey, and Donell Taylor who are going to be up for consideration. Blatche is 6'11 out of high school with a wide array of skills that need refinement, so that first spot is likely his. It's a toss up between the other two." |
Those who aren't affilliated with a team can be signed by any NBA team it looks like...

rather good last game - he cut down on turnovers (and assists) and was way up on points and steals

vote for Grundy:
http://www.nba.com/dleague/
he's currently tied for 5th
not that this poll will have anything to do with him being called up, but it would be nice for him to get some credit for being the D-league's best player so far this season 1/9/2006 11:14:56 AM |

Grundy making it in the NBA would help with recruiting. But then him, Julius, and Powell have to get on the court so we can get some exposure.
Also, how is Jason Clark from UVA on a NBDL team? He didn't even hardly play for UVA. 1/16/2006 5:32:08 PM |
