I have tried burning this dvd about 8 times it isn't working! I'm using nero express, nero vision (i converted the avi file to a ifo file) and i've tried dvd decrypter.

When I used nero express it just stayed at 1%, nero vision it went all the way to 99% then froze, and dvd decrypter It just won't work.

Do you happen to have the Nero DVD burning plug-in? If you do, you can burn directly from AVI. I'm pretty sure that if you have the basic Nero stuff, you do have the plug-in, but you will still need a serial key so that you can actually use it. I may be able to help you acquire one.

coincidentally, i am having dvd burning problems as well. I just got memorex 16x dvd+r's (50 pack unfortunately), and my lite-on sohw-1633s won't recognize the disks. havent been able to find anyone with the same problem yet. upgraded the drive's firmware, all that i can think of to try from here is some kind of windows driver update.

Maybe your burner only burns -R discs

I did the same thing and bought some -R discs, and my burner only burns +R discs

^What he said. Try physically looking on the outside of the tray of the actual DVD drive, usually it will say the brand of the drive and DVD +/- R or whatever.

not sure what z-clv means, but it looks like it should work with 16x dvd+r's

ditto...your best bet is to get some guy to come over and fix it...and try not to slap him when he drools a little on your keyboard or oggles your breasts

do what i do...when something quits working, go buy a new one (same model) from whatever store and return the old piece in the box of the one you just bought and say it doesn't work...i have no moral issues with doing that on a piece of equipment that's less than a year old...after that, you take your chances
