some of the things he said were right, but it is a stupid column. the fake one-sided conversation bit can only go so long, as far as i'm concerned. and that went on about 4 times longer than it should.

articles like this one are very typical in the RM Telegram, i sent an email to all three of those email addresses, i think it is a shame to degrade the efforts of our coaches and players. if it was any other team was in our position articles like this would never be written.

it pisses me off because it is soooo poorly written. I thought when I first started reading that the monologue would last for a little while, and then there would be an actual article. Maybe this bag of crap with a bow on top passes for real journalism in some places, but it just pisses me off.

Who's letting this crap get published? Not that it's another anti-Amato article; those are fine. Freedom of the press and all, plus you can't say he doesn't deserve some of it. But the article itself sucked, regardless of the opinon of its 'content'.

Yea, I got like 20% through it and I am not sure I can bring myself to read that wretched peice of refuse.

The internet makes it entirely too easy for information to spread and for credibility to be hard to check. I wish every "journalist" had to put their credentials on every peice they pass around. Ie, degree from X school, X number of years writing, X number of years covering sports, etc.

Because I have a feeling I could dismiss a ton of trash with this information alone.

Wilmington's paper is about the same. I have to resort to buying the Noise and Disturber to get any coverage whatsoever.... The Star News barely covers state games, but if something bad happens it's all over the place. Also, they cover UNC like they're the home team. UNC CH gets more coverage here than UNSeaW

UNC gets the coverage because there are more UNC fans than State fans (unfortunately) and probably more UNC fans in Wilmington than UNC-W fans. The paper is in the business of making money. Everything else is secondary.

with the ACC getting BC and VT it is a really good football conference. Along with the SEC, Big Ten and typically the Big 12 no one in the ACC needs to worry about strength of schedule. If you win the SEC, you played some damn good teams, if you win the ACC you played some damn good teams, its impossible to be bowl eligilble in those conferences and NOT beat some good teams.

Ok, I've been registered on TWW for quite a while, and consider myself more of a "lurker" but that god-damn article irritated the shit out of me.

I'm fuckin tired of hearing about how if UNC had our schedule they would be goin to a bowl. Does anyone remember the difficulty of our schedule last year? I don't recall ever hearing any bitching about if we had this schools schedule, or that schools schedule, then we would have went to a bowl.
