How is everyone preparing for Sylvia's final? I've done decent on all the tests, but I am a little worried about this one. I hear some people have a copy of her old final?

find someone in dr knopps class.. he gives out a review for the final.... dr sylvia uses the same exam as dr knopp, she just takes out a few of the questions. about 1/3 of the exam comes from that review and another 1/3 is related to the review questions..... should help you out some!

This final is by far the hardest one I have taken...I studied 5 days straight and still wasnt prepared...just dont be shocked when u get an exam thats 30 pages long...good luck on this. Also its a different format than her other exams.

Dr. Knopp's final was the final from hell...22 pages all fill in the blank. Hard stuff, but I can def say I learned the most from that class

i studied my ass off for that day and night for hte last 2 days...

she asked the most nit-picky questions i've ever seen.
basically, if we've gone over it in detail, it wasn't on the "exam"...if she barely or neglected to mention it, it was definately on there. the structures, multiple choice, fill in the blanks, hell, the whole god damn thing was ridiculous.

the funny thing is when someone asked her what the final was gonna be like in class she was like "weak acid in acid-base mixture that resists changes in pH is..." and "a molecule with a postive and negative charge but that is overall neutral is..."

and for why Protein Kinase C stands for PKC I underlined the P the K and put C I have no fucking idea what the hell this means.

For the one problem talking about the pH of a soln being titrated is neutral...I knew it was iso- something so I put Iso-cant remember what the hell this damn thing is called
