A little back-story:
Quote :
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned Danish travellers to Pakistan of increased hazard after a Danish newspaper's decision to publish cartoons of Muslim prophet Mohammed escalated into a bounty being placed on the heads of the cartoonists. Daily newspaper Jyllands-Posten published twelve cartoon drawings of Mohammed in September, sparking angry reactions from Denmark's Muslim population and a number of Muslim countries. A bounty of DKK 50,000 had been put on the head the cartoonist responsible for the drawings, daily newspaper Berlingske Tidende reported on Friday. The Pakistani group offering the reward mistakenly believes that the 12 cartoons were created by just one person."

You can view some of the drawings here:
http://www.uriasposten.net/index.php?p=2624

And Now:
Quote :
"The leader of the UN’s work on human rights is saying in plain words that she is concerned over the drawings that Jyllands-Posten printed in September, expressing “apologies” for statements and actions demonstrating a lack of respect for the religion of other people. In a letter to the 56 member countries of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), she states: “I understand your concerns and would like to emphasize that I regret any statement or act that could express a lack of respect for the religion of others”. In a complaint to the High Commissioner, the 56 Islamic governments have asked Louise Arbour to raise the matter with the Danish government “to help contain this encroachment on Islam, so the situation won’t get out of control.” Two UN experts, on religous freedom and on racism and xenophobia, are said to be working on the case."

Zionist J00ish interests force massive non-white immigration on the European nations (and America) in the attempt to weaken and destroy the white nations and peoples (via race-mixing, divide and conquer tactics, the ensuing chaos from the clash of cultures and races). In this case, you have the foundation being laid for taking away freedom of speech in the name of "respecting diversity", etc. The conflicts created by this un-natural and dangerous forcing together of clashing cultures and peoples are the pretext for advancing the Zionist NWO agenda--including cracking down on individual freedoms and conditioning people to accept world government. Forcing people of different races together also promotes the idea of a "one-world community." It weakens the idea of nation states made up of different races and peoples. It advances "a one-world community" and ultimately the acceptance of a world government.

Riots such as those in France (whether real racial riots or fueled by agent provacateurs), are the pretext for curtailing freedom and laying the foundation for a police state. Yet, the government will not say that the massive immigration is the problem. They point the blame to the white French, claiming they haven't "provided enough opportunity." The massive immigration will continue, even though the masses of the population oppose it (just as here in America where 85-90% oppose the massive illegal immigration and amnesty plans).

The Edomite j00z hate the white true Israelite peoples, and they must weaken the strong western European nations (and America), because those nations (being the most powerful nations on earth) are the biggest obstacles to world government. Haven't you wondered why it is only the western European nations and America who must accept this massive non-white immigration?

At the same time, the j00ish media demonizes whites (as "nazis", "bigots", etc.) who stand up against this immigration and take pride in their race or people. According to them, it is just fine for every other race (including the j00z) to take pride in their race and form all kinds of organizations promoting their race--except whites. China and Japan, for example, are noted for limiting immigration to their countries in order to preserve their racial heritage and identity. Where are the calls from the media saying that the Chinese and Japanese are "racist bigotted xenophobic Nazis"? Also, the j00z are noted for promoting racial purity among j00z, saying the j00z should only marry other j00z. Yet, if a white says this, well the media says that white person is a "racist" and a "Nazi."

What is there to talk about? Has anybody censored anyone? Oh, it's just that "free expression" in your mind is an expression free of any criticism. Wait, weren't you trying to accuse others of exactly this type of thinking? Oh, the sweet irony.

That kind of sounds like they want to restrict the freedom of speech there, plus the whole DKK 50,000 bounty on his head is just a bit, well, not really pro freedom of speech. I think that reacting in outrage to the bounty put on the guy's head would've been a little more appropriate, while at the same time maybe saying something like "This guy's comics don't represent everybody's views in Denmark. They're not even meant to be serious! These are comics, not weekly political columns."

I mean, criticism is one thing. Criticism is fine. Somebody could call him out as a little bitch and call his comics a bunch of bullshit, and that would be fine and legal (although they might have to watch the swears, hah). Putting a bounty on his head and having an organization of predominantly Islamic governments ask the Danish government to "contain this encroachment on Islam" because a small group's comics don't agree with their views is bullshit (and against the concept of free speech).

this issue has resurfaced since the cartoons were published in norway this month, resulting in more ridiclous crap. my roommate is from denmark, so if someone finds the cartoons i can probably get him to translate them.

article link: http://www.masnet.org/news.asp?id=3148

Quote :
"Arabs and Muslims also are calling for a boycott of Danish foods, including popular cream cheese, butter and cookie brands. Arla Foods said the boycott of its products in the Middle East was almost total, reports the AP.
"Sales have come to a standstill in almost all markets," said Jens Refslund, the foods production division manager."

Quote :
"Protestors set fire to Norwegian and Danish flags and painted a footprint on the Danish flag, a severe insult for Arabs, reports Reuters."

Quote :
"Ten Palestinians armed with assault rifles and grenade launchers rallied outside the European Union headquarters in Gaza City and fired in the air, demanding an apology and saying Danes and Norwegians there would be at risk of attack, the news agency reports.
...
Groups linked to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah faction issued a statement saying, "We call upon all Danish citizens in [Palestine] to leave immediately.""

Quote :
"The Egyptian parliament's Economic Committee refused to discuss a $72.5 million loan from Denmark to Egypt, with newspapers quoting lawmakers as saying they do not want to cooperate with a country that has insulted the prophet, reports the AP."

Quote :
""This is cultural terrorism, not freedom of expression.""

there is also some great stuff at the end with bill clinton. and of course there's the part where the Arab League is attempting to ban freedom of expression in the religious realm:
Quote :
""Consultations are currently taking place at the highest level between Arab countries and the OIC to ask the U.N. to adopt a binding resolution banning contempt of religious beliefs and providing for sanctions to be imposed on contravening countries or institutions""

personally, i don't see some of this stuff as a big deal. for some reason, it just seems like the UN wouldn't prevent freedom of speech. some of the other stuff is crazy, though, like egypt not discussing its loan and this boycott on food (including cheese!). next time i take out a loan, im pretty much not going to pay it back due to my differences in opinion with the bank.

Despite living in such an impoverished part of the world, those Pakistanis love putting bounties on people's heads.

Ought to put that money in bonds.

I don't like it when people make fun of religions in such a harsh manner.

But at the same time, I believe in freedom of expression. So I believe the Danish Government has nothing to apologize for in this case.

Oh wait, if you deny the Holocaust in [most of] Europe, you get put in jail. Why, because it is allegedly hurtful and could lead to social unrest! But these cartoons haven't...?

Freedom of expression? Of course! As long as you don't criticize the fucking Zionist barbarians.

Of course the Zionists don't run the world, they only run Europe and the US (which run the world).

^^ because i am saying genocide should be legal??? we are talking about freedom of EXPRESSION here. denying a genocide took place is not the same as committing it [!!!]. it is just words. why is that illegal, and a jailable offense, when insulting the prophet of the muslims is legal? you don't see the double standard here? if you don't, please don't respond.

^ i don't know which part of my post elicited the "It can?". please explain. it can what?

you want to know the fucking difference, you mongoloid?

here it is:

one is a punishment of jailtime issued by the government of a country over it's own citizens. the other is a bunch of fucking powerless idiots calling for people to be KILLED over a cartoon.

maybe you can process that, since the chimps in the zoo could, but i doubt it.

as always, you succeed in misrepresentation.

i never condoned that, let alone comment on it in anyway.

i was talking about illlegality of denying holocaust vs. legality of insulting prophets. either both should be legal, or both illegal.

anyway, carry on insulting without comprehending anything going on in here.

Both should be legal. However, as you pointed out, the EU thinks such language about the holocaust deserves prison. What a coincidence that the EU also thinks the Danes in Denmark should censure the newspaper and appologize.

My point is, the EU is a lost cause. They've agree such language should always be illegal. We, in the Free World, think such language should always be legal. As such, the EU should no longer be considered part of "The Free World."

from a secular point of view, there may be a case for censoring lies about the Holocaust but not censoring pride damaging anti-religious cartoons.

that being that a secular nation has a separation of church & state (where religion is more privatized), but a nation has a strong connection to its history & related genocides.

^ good point... but I suspect having a free press where saying anything, including sarcastic headlines, is tolerated should do a good enough job keeping the truth known.

Nothing gains a publication readers faster than rightly pointing out the idiocy of others.

Yeah, the difference is we have a nation of one Pat Robertson, they have a nation of millions.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11097877/

I wonder what Mohammed would be more offended by, a cartoon depicting him in a negative light or millions of his followers threatening violence at every drop of a hat and glass of spilt milk? Oh BTW, reacting the way they did only vindicates the cartoon 100%. They censored the cartoon by voilent means but maintained the message by replacing the caricature with live actors.
