so i have 19 hours left til i can graduate. i can take all 19 next semester, but i will most likely die. so because i can all 19 next semester, the dean of BLS said i cant walk next semester early.

i plan on taking 12 hours next semester, BO360 summer 1, ZO421 summer 2, and that leaves me with GN412 for the fall of 06 (unless i can sneak it in next sem. or during the summer). GN412 is a 1 hour, once a week class.

If you could make it where you had less than ~7 hours in the summer (read: NO fall classes), you could probably walk in May.

If you're taking a class at all in the fall, I'd bet you can't walk 'til next December's graduation ceremony.

You can definitely take 19 in one semester. This semester I took 21 hours and next I have 20, and this is my senior year so everything's 300/400 level. It's do-able

hah, yah its do-able. but BCH451, BO360, ZO421, HI205, HI233, GN412, some PE class, ALS303 in one semester.

man o man.

im gonna go ahead and say it, i cant do it.

the GN412 classes are closed. some have waitlist. so im pretty sure i can squeeze into one of those.

so that leaves 2 classes for the summer. i need to go back and talk to them.

Why not? If you fulfill your degree requirements, you should be able to walk.

Summer graduates typically don't walk in May except by special request ... I was one of those special requests .

I myself did/would go the summer route. You'll need to be thinking about employment or graduate school, and each of those is a major time consumer to prepare for. Doing 12 and 7 would allow you the space to get everything done. Yes, BCH451 and ZO421 will kill you together . Definitely talk to an advisor to help plan/space everything out. I know they offer various histories over the summer distance education as well.

do the bio 360, a history and the PE in the summer
do the rest next semester......that's what i am doing!
So then you can walk in May, finish in summer I.
If you need GN 412 to graduate, they will let you in the class....even if they have to open a special space just for you.....i think it's doable.
also its better to graduate then take some time off, study for LSAT, DAT, PCAT....whatever then head off to graduate school....I am totally sick of undergrad....
