My computer started freezing up, so I would reset it, could work it for a few minutes, then it would freeze up again. Mouse and keyboard locked up completely.

I turn it on, the processor fan, power supply fan, and the hard drive spin. But no signal is going through to the monitor.

I've reset BIOS. Didn't change anything.

Virus attack or Processor failure? I can't think of anyting else. Any ideas?

Bad memory? I know somewhere microsoft provides a boot disk which will examine your memory for errors.

Overheating? Check the temperature levels in the BIOS, or put your hand on it, does it feel unusually hot? Has a fan stopped working?

No post, so I can't even get into BIOS. All fans are working. It's not overheating because I've started it cold.
