I'll probably need more than a citation from State board to win

Bunting only does this to "mid level" commitments. He won't be pushy with the guys that are superstars (See: AJ Davis, Monterio Hardesty, Mike Mason, etc.)On the mid level (3* and below, usually) players that are so-so recruits, he will threaten to pull thier scholarships if they take any more visits. As far as proof, I doubt you'll find it. I know it happens, but it's not something that gets publicized alot, for obvious reason. I'll look through some old recruiting articles when I get off of work to see if I can find a comment about it, but I doubt it.....I know it happens becuase the mods on Statefans, who personally interview recruits, say some UNC commitments tell them they wont take any more visits becuase of this (They post this info on the message boards, not in articles)It's kind of like "proving" UNC pulls scholarships of committed lesser players when a better player wants to come there. They always oversign, and they always pull a few schollies every year.... but you really can't "prove" he pulled the scholly becuase a better player wanted to play there. Unless your dumb, you can figure out that's why he did it. (As in, RB Richie Rich commits and they mysteriously decide to withdraw their offer to a committed RB Bryan Payton the next day....10 days before signing day....? They didn't have enough scholarships.... hmm)Oh, and they have like 28 commitments this year alone, not to mention the other 15 or so kids they have a really good chance of landing. Problem is, they can only take 25 per NCAA rules. Quite a few schollys will be pulled [Edited on December 15, 2005 at 5:17 PM. Reason : sfdgsd]
