Who is the worst and best?

How do Cotanch, Patty, chilton, Hinkle, parker, klenin rank?

205 with beichner, hes a good teacher but at the end he started letting the TAs teach which pissed me off.

well, i think she works well with some students and bad with others....i personally did not like her teaching style whatsoever

i know he is not on your list and im not sure if he is still teaching the lower level physics, but i had lado for py 208 and he was one of the best teachers i had, of any subject, at state.

I think all 208 profs teach more or less the same way. it's all the same material and everyone does the same webassigns and takes the same tests.

I had Patty for both PY 1 and 2, he was great. You get a cheat sheet for each test (.5 sheet) so you can basically write anything on them. I would strongly recommend Patty, but i have also heard god things about Hinkle.

I had Sayers for 211 and Patty 212. Both were great professors, although Sayers died last year .

The best is definitely Patty, far and away. I was in his PY 211 class and nearly switched to the Calculus based course when I found out he'd only be teaching 208 in the Spring.

I had Lee for 208. He was a good teacher and always had helpful class notes posted online.
