Okay, so one of our computers at work fucked up and can't load Windows anymore. One of the Windows files is just corrupted, I think. It's an old cash register running windows 98, and it doesn't have a disk drive. I think I should be able to just make a disc image from one of the working registers and copy that to the messed up drive. Then I should just have to change the network name and it will work with our network.
Question 1: Will this work?
Question 2: Does Windows have built in software for making disc images? If not, is there shareware/freeware that can do this?
Thanks! 12/17/2005 10:05:24 PM |
