Just got a new Ipod. What are the must have accessories for this thing? I was thinking about the Itrip or something like it, its just that the audio quality sucks when you do that. Also, can anyone suggest some good headphones that will stay in me ear while working out? Price really isn't an issue, just something that will stay in. 12/25/2005 6:07:14 PM |

(its a battery pack, you put a 9v battery in there, and as long as you have some charge left, you can get like 8 hours of extra life
and my "this could really be worth $100" item is this
an alarm clock
and these are the headphones i use every day @ the gym
just be sure to get some q-tips in you shit every couple days (if you don't already use q-tips) they come in the white pictured and in a black, which is what i have i didnt' want the white "mug-me-now" headphones for when i'm on the metro etc] 12/25/2005 8:18:45 PM |

I need to find an FM transmitter/charger that is one in the same. All I've seen is the monster cable one, and that's 80 bucks. 12/25/2005 9:10:26 PM |

if your car has a cassette adaptor its much better than an fm modulator (at least in my mind) 12/25/2005 9:44:10 PM |

I'm debating if I should return my Video Ipod for a Nano since they Nike makes that sleeve for working out. There just isn't much for the full size version if anything. Problem is I'm not sure if I can get it returned sinced it was engraved 12/25/2005 11:05:58 PM |

Personal opinion from a guy who sells those things, it's not. Spend the extra $50 a get some JBL onstage speakers or the mm50 from logitech. The sound quality on those things is garbage.
Also shitty sound.

I've heard excellent things about the Kensington one, they sell it at the Apple Store, but it's also $80. You're probably not going to find a combo for much less.

You can't return it at the store, but you may be able to return it to the web/telesale people.12/25/2005 11:40:07 PM |

I don't have an iPod, but my bro got me a pair of Shure e4c headphones to use with my PSP. I never thought earbuds would be worth $180 (yes, you can get them online for $180 - check cNet), but these things are fucking sweet. The bass response is great and you can't hear a damn thing outside when they're in. 12/26/2005 1:23:16 AM |

How well do they stay in? 12/26/2005 12:21:46 PM |

they stay in like glue...the e4c have about 10 different styles of caps for the buds, so you can size them for fit and comfort 12/26/2005 2:18:48 PM |

you don't want to spend 180 on your gym earbuds

ah, I missed that part about the phones neing for workouts. I'd have to agree that you wouldn't want to use the Shure's for workouts...I'd be worried about damaging the drivers inside. However, I have gotten good use out of my sony over the ear type phones - got them for about 20 bucks at Best Buy a couple of years ago...however, get the Shure's for any other time 12/26/2005 4:29:21 PM |

I ordered the Kensington FM transmitter off the rec's here and reviews elsewhere. Found it for 45 dollars after rebate on Amazon, should anyone else want to get one. 12/26/2005 6:35:12 PM |

The EyeBud, which displays video in front of one eye, can provide the feeling of watching video on a 105-inch display from 12 feet away, according to the company. “Suddenly you’ve got this big-screen, movie-screen, home-theater experience, wherever you are,” said Gary Jones, eMagin’s president and CEO." |
