for some reason this started happening last night and has yet to cease. Im all of a sudden getting 75% data loss when sending to my router. It has worked flawlessly over the past year. Its either the USB antenna (Belkin) or the router (Linksys).

playing WoW is horrible. 3000+ ms lag. anyway I can narrow down which one it is?

Where do you live? Maybe someone else got one (or a phone, etc) as a christmas gift?

Try switching up the channels, ssid (if yours is default still) and see if that improves.

Just a simple ping test doesn't mean wireless loss. your adapter should have some sort of monitoring software to alert you to signal strength and quality.
