next vehicle will probably be a 2006 Yamaha R6

then some sort of airplane...leaning towards a quarter share of an RV-4 right now, but that's at least a couple of years off

next car will probably be either an Elise or an Exige, or maybe a Z06, but that's several years off unless I get tired of the S2000, blow it up, wreck it, or start having problems with it.

Porsche Boxster
or
Honda S2000
or
E36 M3

in that order of likelihood.

STi is a contender that I wouldn't rule out either though.

maybe the new volvo c30 if they offer it with awd and the turbo engine with a manual... that would be hot, assuming they don't castrate it much from the design concept debuting in detroit right now...

there's a guy who has an elise at the patent office that just looks frickin' awesome and I totally want one every time I see it..

Dependent on housing situation:

If I buy a house (not living in the center city): Not buying a car for a while - then probably an AMG C43/C55

If I buy a condo in the city: Selling the Volvo in favor of a BMW F650.

Gonna pick up a Pontiac G6 for my wife next.
Then I'm going to add to the Camaro collection when the new Camaro convertibles come out to get a silver one to match my 97.

Probably a used:
-Audi A6 4.2 or 2.7T quattro
-Audi S4
-Lincoln LS V8
-Chrysler 300C SRT8
-Jaguar XJR
-Volvo S60 T5

or, if I go in a completely different direction and keep the Mark VIII as my daily driver and pick up a project (in increasing order of weird)
-80's BMW 635 or M6
-'64 Galaxie
-Audi 200 Avant or V8 Quattro
-Volvo 240 Turbo
-Mitsubishi Starion
-early 80's Lincoln Continental (RWD fox chassis + 302, lots of 'stang parts would fit)

New Infiniti G35 coupe
or Used Z71 Tahoe because I hate the new ones, they look just like the damn Trailblazer
or 2004/5 Cadillac Escalade

I'm probably going with the SUV, because after owning my Accord Coupe for 2 years, I love the sportyness but I'm ALWAYS borrowing Daddy's truck for towing, ski trips, storage space, etc.

... I've probably got a few more to add to this list.

OH, or a previous model Durango (don't like the new design of these either, too minivan looking)
or Either a Used or New Jeep Cherokee (the new design is beginning to grow on me)

none of you people are going to buy SUVs in a few years, with the way gas is going..unless you really need one, lol.

My future vehicle choice depends greatly on when I move out of NYC. If I can manage to easily afford a car in Manhattan (including garaging it) then I'm thinking of a WRX (not an STi or Evo though, roads are too rough) b/c its quick and has AWD.

If I leave NYC in a few years, an S2000 or new 4th Gen RX-7

Depending on how I feel.

for the wife it will be replacing the TSX with a 09-10 TL or RL or whatever Acura has out on that level.

for me it will be replacing the explorer with either a 07-08 Denali/Escalade or F-150/F-250 depending on what my biggest need is when the time is right

first, probably a small truck... maybe like a tacoma or something to haul crap around in (since my husband's mom uses his old truck)

then, something fun. we can't decide... maybe a z06, a restored vette (decided not to do ourselves), or maybe a 911. but that is still a bit out.

A truck, either diesel or Ford straight six.

Dual rear wheels if possible, with a flatbed on it. Possibly a tool body.

Two wheel drive and equipped to tow.

Some dude in a Delorean jumped the speed hump in front of University Towers over and over again one night while we egged him on. It was way back around 98 when they just put it in and there was one of those roadside radars sitting there to tell you your speed.

P.S. If you kick those roadside radars it sets off an alarm. You don't even have to kick them very hard. Just enough to make em shake.
