as long as it's not in color, it should be rather cheap (as in $80 or less). I've heard good things about Warlock's, although I'm not sure how expensive they are for tattoos. I got my bellybutton pierced there and they did it for $48, and that included everything, even the ring.

i got one that's all black about the same size for about $80 or so at blue flame a couple years ago. i don't remember the name of the person who did it though.

Jesus made it pretty clear in the New Testament that many -- not all -- of the old laws pertaining to physical things done to or put in one's own body. Although He didn't mention tattoos, etc. explicitly, it would seem to fit the trend.

And it's funny, Wolfpacker, I was kind of thinking about that one for my arm. If not that, a slavonic or coptic cross.

now dependent on how literal you take the meaning of "ink," be that on paper or the body, it seems as if it's saying it's unnecessary... but it doesn't say it's desecrating your body.

I'm certain that Jesus is ok with tatoos. He's more concerned with the state of our hearts than appearences.

Also, we see many places in the Bible where people create monuments to the Lord to remember the great things He has done for them. This is the same thing, except it's on my body.

I wouldn't consider tattoos as desecrating your body, the temple. I would consider things that harm your body as desecration, such as smoking, drinking excessively, unprotected risky sex, harmful drugs, disfiguration (sp), etc.

I probably speak for many people that have tattoos in saying that collectively we could give a flying fuck-all what you think.

It's just something fun for the owner to do, why place so much importance on it? I don't. It's not all meaningful and shit, at least not for me. It's no different than slapping a sticker on my mirror or car bumper, it just spices shit up. I think it's so funny how anti-tattoo people can get, and almost righteous sounding. just shut the $ up, they are fun to the only person who cares and should care in the first place. nuff said.
