well the first sign we made got taken from us after we were allowed to come n with it because coach hewitt said he wanted them to take it. then during halftime when we tried to make the ABC's all down the first row, they came and took our supplies for that. and then at the end of the last timeout I said, "hey paul, does tarver even understand your little drawings?" (referring to the play he had drawn up in the timeout). Coach turns straight towards me and yells, "Hey, FUCK YOU!...you're just classless." I don't care if he thinks I'm classless for saying that. Dropping the f-bomb on a student is unacceptable. Our job as students is to get in the head of the opposition...well that is exactly what we did, and as a coach he needs to remember that he can't let something get to him like that. Anyways, sorry for the length of this...I just couldn't believe I got cussed out by an ACC coach.

I was also flicked off by a UNC-Asheville player earlier this season for something that I said (which was clean and appropriate)...so I'm just on a good roll this season.

I mean I'm not hurt by it or anything...I can take it. But I think most people would agree it's not the way a coach should ever react to anything being said...although I would like to hear Herb yell something like that.

And if I'm an immature student assclown, then so are all the other students. I was just the last thing that caused him to let out his anger, and it provided some amusement.

My friend and I were told that we were going to get "jacked up" because after the G-W game when one of their players was on the bench crying, I yelled that there was no crying in basketball. Complete hilariousness ensued as the lady said that he scored so many points, and that was pretty good, well, 22 points too short I replied. Then I was told I was going to get jacked up, and I just laughed and laughed and laughed.

an ACC coach yelling "Fuck you, you're classless" sounds like the pot calling the kettle black. How classy is he for throwing in the F you?

an another note I did get a good response out of Tarver when I yelled "Hey Tarver, what's 2 plus 2??" and with a smart ass look on his face he held up four fingers.

Its always a good feeling anytime you get a response out of taunting other players/coaches. The crowd did a good job today at the end of the game, but couldve done better at the beginning.

and when he got ready to shoot

His actions weren't more acceptable because he was a student. His actions were more acceptable because his actions were more acceptable. He never said anything profane to Hewitt.


In any case, Hewitt later said he lost his cool and apologized. So I don't think any less of him (not that I thought that bad of him when I first heard it).

But I will definitely be laughing about what happened today for years to come.
