Several of my friends did this over summers, and I'd pretty much be there every weekend during the summer. Those were some good times. Wilmington/wrightsville beach is hopping during summertime.

If you stay in raleigh catch comebody who wants to sublet their place over the summer. Should not have any trouble finding one. Then you wont get jacked for high rent on a short lease.

Wait until April, and you will have your pick of subleases. It's a little early to be looking if you want a good deal. Come the end of the semester people like me will be begging for people to rent our apartments at reduced rates so we don't have to pay out our leases after we leave town.

i am a senior walking in May and finishing up in the summer, so they won't allow me to take classes else where. So going to the beach is sadly ruled out....but I guess I should wait til around April to see who wants to sublease.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
