they caught ackbar on the SIDE of the chest, and he flopped. There is no way ced knocked him over.

Get over it, it was a flop by williams on minimal contact.

I never said there wasn't contact. The contact was a touch at best and Shelden fell down.

It's absolutely a smart play. That doesn't mean it's an honorable play.

Sheldon flopped but it was a foul. Every player is schooled to fall when contact like that is made. Simmons played great and even though we lost it's good to know we can still play a solid game without the three.

Simmons, by far, is the most improved player in the ACC this year. Not special olympics most improved, but improved enough to be kicking ass. Every game he's coming up with something else. I'm especially liking his footwork. He's starting to play very smart ball, and he's only a soph.

It was a blatant foul. No question. I'm not gonna kill Ced for it though..

I have ONE beef with the refs this game and it has to do with palming. I have no problem calling Gavin for his palm but Paulus CLEARLY palmed the fuck out of the ball before he dished to Melchionni for the 3 to put them up by 6 after Docks 3+foul shot. I mean it was the most blatant palming I have probably ever seen in my life. I just want some fucking consistency with that call..

Felton made a living out of palming and Reddick is bad about it too. The thing is though that they more or less carry it by keeping their hand on the side of the ball. Grant's hand goes under the ball and that is what they are really calling this year.

statement game for ced. he outplayed one of the nations best players in every aspect of the game. if he played every game close to like he played tonight hed be right up there with jj and morrison for npoty. hopefully it can carry over to the rest of the games in his future.
