I have NEVER seen a herb team win a big game on the road. We NEVER win a close game on the road. Herb has the best NCSU team in 15 years and still loses ALL big games on the road. FIRE HERB!

We beat UConn last year, and have had some incredible runs in the ACC Tourney in the last few years, just to get into the NCAA's, as well as some big wins at Wake on the last weekend. Just becasue we dont win at Duke and UNC doesnt mean we dont get huge road wins...what about BC this year?

1) EVERYONE is 2nd fiddle to UNC except Kentucky....and they're arguably better only becuase they don't play in the ACC.


2) Duke has possibly (and IMO, probably) the best coach in NCAA basketball history. Everyone since he got there has played 2nd fiddle to them.

i kinda see Herb Sendek as our version of Gene Keady

he'll have a nice 25 year career or so....basically he'll rack up a bunch of wins (and losses) while never really accomplishing anything. no national titles. no regular season 1st place conference finishes. maybe scatter in a couple of conference tournament championships, maybe. never really advance deep into the ncaa tournament... maybe get to the elite 8 a couple of times but never much passed that.

if you're gonna be a wolfpack fan you should probably go ahead and accept this. at least then you can enjoy the couple of big wins we get every year a little bit more.
