The price for this one is more reasonable.

I hope they open lots of dog parks so I won't feel so bad when I tell dog people that they need to GTFO of the other parks.

^^ I don't really like dogs in parks. Too many bad owners.

I'm for segregation so that those of us who don't have dogs can enjoy the park without stepping in shit, getting barked at, etc.

I wish I had a dog to take to the dog park.

and Smath74 it only costs $10 for a day pass, read the fucking website and you'll see its only $80/year for a non-Cary resident. That works out to about $0.22 per day, so its not really all that expensive

well, too bad dogs ARE allowed in 'regular' parks. i'd love for somebody to try and tell me to take my dog elsewhere.

^and $80 fucking dollars compared to ZERO dollars in raleigh? hmmmmmm...

WTF are you talking about? Dogs are allowed in all parks, but are usually pretty well behaved and owners are required to clean up poo. "Dog parks" are fenced in areas with off-leash dogs playing. Why would you wander through a fenced in dog park area? Are you a dog, no.

the only thing you can do something about in that sentence is the picking up shit...you have to clean up after your dog in NC unless it's your yard.

sabrina goes with me to the disc golf course to walk around every now and then...or i take her to jaycee park off wade...i gots me dog poo bags with me too! it's damn sexy to watch a girl pick up her dog's shit.

^^ You're lost dude. I'm not even addressing your statement.

^ Good for you, but anyone who has walked around Lake Johnson knows that there are plenty of bad dog owners out there. I'm sure it sucks to be lumped in with those people, but IMO if dogs are fucking things up then dogs should be banned. I don't think they should have automatic rights to be anywhere.

Of course I would say something if I saw someone not pick up after their dog, but citizens shouldn't have to police the park over something as juvenile as scooping poop.

So, I'd be all for opening a bunch of dog parks and letting them fuck it all up; especially if it meant significantly less (or 0) dogs in other parks.

well, the only reason i was interested in the cary dog park is because it is right down the road from me and the hours are perfect for my new job so i don't have to take them to doggie daycare... oh so much cheaper!
but, I'm a little weary after reading the dog rules and then reading the owner agreement I have to sign.
the rules say that children under 12 aren't allowed in the park and that extremly aggressive dogs aren't allowed in the park. I'm all for that, because that means I wouldn't have to worry about anything... but then the contract you sign says that children under 12 might be in there, and that they won't guarantee that aggressive dogs will be banned... that makes no sense to me. Why would I pay for a park that obviously is mixed up on its rules....
I like milbrooke exchange park in the mornings... but it's a 20-30 min drive to get there and I wouldn't have time in the morning or evening to get my dogs there before or after work....

Leave it to C.A.R.Y. to fuck things up and charge people a bunch of money for something that should be free.

That's one thing that's great about living in Athens, GA. There are a bunch of different dog parks and they're all free. There's even one on UGA's campus.

Skack, I've never seen poo laying around at Lake Johnson. And if you see someone who doesn't pick up the poo, or has their dog offleash, just tell them you spotted a ranger up ahead.

on one hand, it's good that they (cary) are making people pay for something that a few want.

it would be bad if the money collected didn't go to park upkeep and other things...

i'd much rather have to pay to use (ala carte) certain services, rather than be taxed for them. of course that's just me.

wait a minute, you're just going to leave your dogs there? Who's going to supervise them and feed them or anything?

Because there is nothing else of relevance to care about as this state blows ass.

Jesus christ arraeuber you are the reason people don't want dogs in public places.

I can't begin to understand what brain function leads you to believe that you can leave your dogs at this place unattended while you are at work. What if your dogs attacks someone or another dog? And in case you missed this part in the rules and regulations:

"Never leave your dog unattended"

u guys are fucked up if u think i would leave my dogs at some park.
i mean... seriously.
wow...
lets see... they open at 7am and close at 10pm
I could leave them for free at the other one if i was an idiot
i was saying that i would go in the morning and again when i get off work.
i love my animals... i'm not a moron.
I can only imagine what would happen if some idiot did htat... they wouldn't have a dog when they went back.
... i don't know why i bother responding to some of these stupid comments

I'm not sure which is worse... the fact that you said that or the fact that I know you and you said it.
I guess knowing you does make it more humorous.
either way, thinking that is dumb. I would have to lack serious common sense to do something like that. My dogs would go to the pound if i was stupid enough to leave them at a park all day.
