Switch To... Retry Cancel
this shit happens every couple of days. I know someone in here will give me hell for it but its bugging the absolute fuck out of me. i cant get the shit off of my screen because it keeps popping back up so i am forced to restart to fix it. Ive googled and other people have had the same problem but its because of some other shit they have running. ive had nothing running and this has happened constantly. I cant find out how to fix it so could someone help me out.

-When exaclty does this happen? When you first start up the computer? When you run a specific program? -How much ram/processor speed do you have? -What OS? -etc. etc.
We can't help you until you help us and provide more information. 1/25/2006 6:40:30 PM |

go to start-run and type msconfig and hit enter
go to the startup tab and remove the checks in the boxes next to almost everything (unless it sounds familiar or something you use) this is best done by an experienced computer person, but you could have some luck doing it too. i bet it will resolve your problem
oh and before you do that run download and run microsoft antispyware and do a scan, virus scan is always good too. then try the msconfig if it doesnt go away.
