Hello old NCSU friends. I just got back to the US, Iraq as nice to visit, wouldn't want to live there. Too bad the journalist chick decided to go to Baghdad during the changing of the guard, Perhaps her captors will treat her decently. I put a few funny pics up on my site, http://www.chadbenson.blogspot.com
I may se you all back at NCSU soon, depending on how OCS goes. Remember to look both ways before crossing the road, only use drugs from someone you trust, and don't eat yellow snow. Happy New Year

Silver Star was downgraded to BSM, but they made it up to me with an ARCOM /sarcasm...I should be attending OCS in the summer, getting the red tape cut right now, my Company Commander was enlisted, so he's good with helping folks get in. I'll go to OCS, then before I make CPT, they'll send me back to school for the last 2 semesters I need. I put in Aviation, Military Intelligence, Infantry, and Engineers as my preferences. So wish me luck bruddah.

^^^ah, i thought you were going to PA school. that's cool that you're going back to the "real" military after you get your bars. oh, and it sounds like you'll prob make Capt before I will, fucker. It'll be another 2.5 years or so for me.

if you get aviation, we'll have to go do some flying when i get stationed in NC or SC in 1.5-2 years. I'm about to finish up my private pilot's license.

how old are you? i didn't know that you could go aviation that late in the game.

I would actually like to visit Iraq myself someday. I really hope they get their stuff together.

Maximum age to go Aviation is 30, I'm 28 right now, and am accumulating a distinguished record, sometimes that speaks for alot if you want to do something "outside" the norm. But, I am still planning on PA school, I just thought I would get some of the Alpha Male shit out of my system first. Besides, OCS is way, way faster than PA. Dude, I would love to go flying... I am on leave Feb 6-24...Come back, finish OCS prep, go to Benning for OCS, and then either Infantry leader's course, or aviation, then Ranger school. so I'll be busy for awhile...may be the only chance I get for awhile.

P.S. OkyDoky: suck it.
