YOU ARRIVE AT THE FUCKING GAME EARLY TO CHEER DURING WARM UPS AND DO NOT ARRIVE DURING A FUCKING TV TIMEOUT. If you don't agree then you can gladly sit in the fucking nose bleeds and I will take your seat. This isn't some fucking Casino night at UT you asshats, get there early and be ready to cheer. The student section wasn't even full at tip. Congrats for being worthless, I hope you all had fun going to shitty ass volleyball games to get those seats pussies and thanks for leaving early. honestly, i felt shitty tonight before going to the game so i didn't get into the game that much

i felt very mechanical and lifeless in my "cheering"...even though I'm not the biggest cheerer ever

but not having a crowd at the beginning of the game didnt' help

and the team having like 6 points with 9 minutes left in the first half didn't help either

overall...it was just a shitty night

I got out of class at 5, had to get back to my dorm to get my ticket, then ate at Bojangles and still made it early. The line was empty then. There really isn't much reason for all those people to show up late.

I was happy when at tip-off my friend and I found some seats together. I was dissapointed when people showed up 10 minutes later to claim them.

A sports quiz of some sort to prove sport intelligence would make it unfair, but hilarious nonetheless, especially if it were short answer/fill in the blank. And the worst part isn't the lack of knowledge that would be exhibited, because honestly before college, some people don't know a thing or haven't watched a sporting event in their lives and shoudln't be penalized. It's the people that grow up watching games, and sit through 4 years of college basketball and football and still have to ask "what's a carry" and my favorite "why don't they go for it, its only a few inches" in regards to a 4th and short inside your own 20 in the 1st quarter.

I'll say the same thing I said for football....based on the numbers, students only deserve half of a gate. In fact, the student gate moves faster than the other gates (and I can actually prove that)...so, unless students would like their athletic fee raised, don't expect so many extras for a group of people who only mildly cheers and shows up

I'll admit it. First time in my five years at NCSU, I showed up late. Turns out, if you don't get there 1/2 hour before tip (what I usually do) they route you into the general parking, where you wind up parking basically out by Trinity and walking a mile...then once you reach the RBC center, you have to walk all the way around the buliding to get to the student entrance (and wait in line mostly behind confused non-students who are in the clearly labeled student line). That easily added five to ten minutes to my trip.

Of course, that makes me such a worse fan than anyone else out there. I mean, geez, what am I thinking, showing up to cheer for our team!?! Cheering instead of booing and cursing our team. Staying until time ran out and cheering like hell for the freshmen and walk-ons when they were put in (they didn't put us in that mess and deserved lots of support). Yeah, I suck as a fan and will never go to a game again so you self-righteous assholes can get premier seats for every single one.

Oh wait, you mean you'd have to miss some for committments too?
