they have power windows now with disconnecting harnesses

and they don't have front fenders anymore, just big fender flares

you can also get 18" wheels too, lol

you're forgetting this wrangler will also eventually get the diesel from the liberty. that's the only thing that would tempt me to ever buy a wrangler...

hopefully an updated v6, a 4.3l based off of the 5.7 hemi, will see production in a couple of years.

You forgot to mention wider axles, removable fender flares, electronic sway bar disconnects.

compared to most stock trucks with 400-500, it certainly is nice.

^ i think what they're saying is that even though it's a good score, that doesn't mean that it is truly capable.

a vehicle w/ a lower rti score but that has lockers will do better on a trail than an open diff wrangler that scores an rti of 800

is it trail rated?

from the allpar link.

Quote :
"The 2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon model features an Off-Road Rock-Tracâ„¢ NV241 two-speed transfer case with a 4.0:1 low-range gear ratio, as well as electric front- and rear-axle lockers and 32-inch B.F. Goodrich Off-Road tires."
are they going to be true lockers though?

that's the rubicon, not the regular models, se, sahara, etc. the rubi is a lot more $$$$$

i was referring to the regular models

i've never heard of a selectable limited-slip, anyway. if they're electric or pneumatic, in general, they're probably real lockers.

a trail is what you make of it. i can turn a fucking ditch next to a parking lot into a day long event if I want to. In a stock yj, with no sway or trac bars, I followed a rear locked TJ in the exact same tracks he made the entire way. just to prove a point of course. It also has a lot to do with the driver too.

it won't matter how deep they are if the car is flying over them

i've seen that cat 'wheel his old Po'-Runna on nearly bald, scrawny tires. whatever he lacks in clearance and traction, ivan will just overcome with momentum and altitude.
