So i searched around the apple website and looked over some of the iPod threads with no luck, so here's my issue:
i have a 2gig Nano, and today i went over the storage capacity. iTunes gave me the message that it was going to create a selection playlist for me to manage. Now, the only playlist that are visible on the iPod are the "On the Go" list and the "NCSU Hale Selection" list.
Ive changed the iPod options around 2 or 3 times, restarted and messed with the auto updating priority of playlists, but to no avail.
Anyone else with a Nano that could give me an idea of how to get my playlists back? I kinda need this ASAP because I take my iPod to work and hook it into our soundsystem for our bar mix.
Thanks. 1/27/2006 7:24:54 PM |

Try to do an erase/restore on it.
Add the playlists back to the clean device. 1/27/2006 7:29:34 PM |

With USB2 it shouldn't take that long to put your songs back.
It will take longer to find a "workaround" than it would to just do it. 1/27/2006 7:31:22 PM |

Is the NCSU Hale list the one it created for you?
In your iPod preferences turn on manual management of the music on the ipod, then you choose what goes on and what goes off. Just be sure to eject the iPod when you're done before disconnecting it. 1/27/2006 7:52:07 PM |

maybe drag the playlist you want over to the ipod? Just a guess. 1/28/2006 5:55:29 PM |
