I think the ACC refs will win this game for UNC.

I would watch for the following:
-Tyler Handsblow will at least get two blocking fouls instead of charges when on offense
-Gary Williams will get a technical for joining in on the "bullshit" chant after a bad call
-Nik Caner-Medley will foul out on touch fouls 10 mins into the second half (3 at halftime)
-ACC Commisioner John Swofford will probably be in attendance (refs want to impress the boss)


Maryland is not that great and neither is WMU (Walmart University). WMU has too many influential people.... I look for this score: WMU 65 UMD 62 Refs 1

Looking at the ACC stadings it would be better if UNC wins....but I cant really want that to happen.

If UNC does win, it would be over a ranked team, which would net them a ranking of no less than 15 on monday.

Haha Ekena Ebekwe or whatever and Travis Garrison aren't bad. But still Im just glad somebody has to lose. Myself, Im pulling for Maryland so when we beat them Sunday we look better.

Ibekwe is pretty good... He's got long arms and is a freakish athlete. He's just a little skinny, has an ugly shot release, and can't ever stay out of foul trouble.

Garrison has pretty much been the most dissapointing McD all american I've ever seen.

I'm still pulling for the ACC Officials. I think that their calls down the lane and under the basket will ultimately decide this game. They have a great inside presence, but their one downfall is a lack of vision to see the entire court. The ACC Officials generally focus on one or two players for the entire game. I would watch for touch fouls on anyone who gets within 3 feet of Tyler Hansblow, and the quick fouls on Caner-Medley. Those two approaches are key for an ACC Officials win tonight.

^^Nowhere did I call him a "bandwagoner". I said he is a member of "Walmart Nation" which I feel encompasses all of UNC, he just is on a different level than the average "Walmart fan". Never did I waiver in my assessment, so my mind was made up.

^^^Maybe using the word trolling was incorrect. A UNC-CH alum posting on an NC State message board is not necessarily trolling, but it is indicitive of the level of intelligence you have (higher than most from UNC-CH). You obviously find that our sports talk is superior to anything your alma mater has, and maybe it also has to do with the fact that deep down you are an NC State fan yourself. Either way, I apologize for using the word "trolling" to identify you. You certainly don't seem to fit into the same category as jprince11(UNC), Steven (ECU), or even sometimes terpball(who I enjoy arguing with on matters other than sports and don't feel trolls too much). I do not find your education insulting. My brother attends UNC-CH, and I am glad that he is getting a higher education (on full scholarship). I find UNC-CH's campus to be nice (not quite Duke's gregorian campus), but I find a vast majority of their sports teams/fans to be extremely abnoxious/arrogant/annoying. Growing up in Western NC, I have a Walmart Nation family.... Maybe my dislike for UNC-CH stems from hearing nothing but "HAOUW 'BOUT DEM HEEEEEAAALLLS!" from all my teachers/friends/family for the first 17 years of my life. Also when my guidance counsellors found that I was applying only to NC State, they refused to help me apply for scholarships. Instead they helped classmates apply for the Morehead and other scholarships at UNC-CH. I do not hate individuals, but simply this idea of elitism and arrogance that seems to permeate the Walmart Nation from top to bottom. My dislike is not directed at you, and I hope you understand that. I take back the trolling comment.
