i got some speakers from crutchfield (who i've always liked and bought from before), but this is my first car with manual windows instead of power and i cannot for the life of me do that stupid "shop rag under the crank" trick to get it to pop off
a friend of mine who used to work at best buy once told me that they had a tool they used to get it off...anyone know what this tool is or where i can get it? or a better way to remove the crank? 2/4/2006 9:34:02 PM |

theres a u shaped cilp on there, push the door panel in a bit to see it. take a pick and hook the closed end and yank it off. then pop in in place on the door handle before you put it back on, and press the door handle on

and then start all over if your crank isnt in the correct position.
only work on one door at a time so you use the other side of the car as a guide.2/6/2006 2:21:56 AM |
